When I press the lock button on the driver side(no passenger switch) or the remote all that I hear is a click coming from the fuses I believe, but no locked doors. When I unlock I hear the same click but all the doors lock. How might I diagnose and fix this?

sound like you lock and unlock relays are bad the are on the dr side in the fuse panel on the back side there is a switch panel on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash you need to take that out the you can see the relays the 2 on the right they are usally black it is best to replace both you don't need to remove lower dash if you have small hands but if you don't it is not to hard to do you should ck to see if they are still under warr they were coverd for 5yrs 60,000 mile just depends on in service date of veh

look in route of the hinges onthe 2002 and also you may see a button. with purely the single door open press it if the gentle acts ok flow to the subsequent door then the subsequent. it may take the time yet those switches artwork otherwise, once you open the door the circuit is grounded hence turning on the gentle etc. appears like there's a frayed twine going to floor. you purely have the interesting of sorting out which one. Then once you do. you pull off the kick panels or column to bare the wiring. that is as ordinary as a nasty swap which i'm guessing that is, drivers door, that is not breaking the contact or the twine has come off the swap..

Take it to the dealership or a mechanic. I had this happen to my truck, it ended up needing a new switch on the driver's side

you will have to go to you local Hyundai dealer or Hyundai repair specialist and get them to reprogram your key and get them to check your car over for any default codes with the fuses
