The engine on my supercharged 07 Mustang GT makes around 570 horses on the flywheel but i'm worried about the transmission. It's automatic and is very weak under 570 horses and 600 lb-ft of torque. How can i prevent my transmission from braking apart???

I drove it home, no problems.
I parked in my driveway for 15 minutes, and when I went to move it all I get is a "click click"?
No whirring of the starter, Nothing but "click click"?
*(The Voltmeter on the dash moves only a 1/4 inch )
Now I called AAA and they sent someone out to give me a jump, and they sent some pathetic schmuck that looks like he's been on the clock since yesterday. As for his Automotive experience.... I'm sorry,. but was very limited even to my experience of working in a gas station of 5 years.
It took the guy 20 minutes to try and put a tow hook on my front bumper for the love of mike.
His attitude was more like he'd rather be bothered by someone other than me, and would make snide comments about the kind of people he has to deal with today and gave very little response to anything I did ask him. We all know the type, Right?
anyway,,,,
I tried jumping the solenoid, (located on the fender well)
Nothing?
Help!
ps
It's a 4 cylinder Automatic

it is a 93 Taurus 3.0 I had a spark plug wire catch on fire a couple of weeks ago i replaced the wires and plugs but one of the wires caught on fire again a different one though. I also noticed that four others had fire/burn damage on them. The reason i was thinking it might be the distributor is it has about a centimeter or so of side to side play and from what i hear thats not normal. by the by the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires, and the ignition module and coil are all newly replaced

i have a 98 mustang, and everytime i rev up the engine it burns out the fuel pump fuse, its the first slot to the left in the fuse box next to the batterie. i think it is the fuel pump fuse, im going by a diagram of a 99, the 98 diagram i keep looking at doesnt look like mine. what seems to be the problem, is the fuel pump giving out, or is there something wrong with the fuse box. its a 3.8 engine. see the thing is that if that fuse gives out, then for some reason it wont let it charge the batterie, and eventually the batterie dies out. it works fine and drives fine, the only thing is you cant pass the rpms above 2 or it will bust the fuse. i asked the question yesterday but i think lack of info, people where unable to help. thanx in advance

I had the pleasure of a ride in a friend's Bentley the other day which among numerous other extravagant refinements boasted a very fine set of unsoiled lambswool overrugs.

My question now is where can I get a set of lambswool overrugs for my second hand 2000 plate Mondeo LX. This equally noble vehicle also boasts extravagant refinements (but just of a rather different type).

I know everyone will agree the addition of some of those rugs would just add an extra thick layer of icing and a cherry to that particular cake.

I'm thinking about getting a truck. But I don't want just any truck. I want the kind of truck that eats other trucks for breakfast!

I'm thinking about going with the 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty. (And I dont want and of that FORD=Fix Or Repair Daily crap. I like Ford trucks. I happen to think they are a very good truck.)

Thing is...it's a diesel....how are diesel's with fuel/mpg? How much is the cost of diesel compared to regular gas?

What happens is when i first drive it cold it will heat up and then the temp gauge will jump and almost get out of the normal range and the heat inside the car will get cold. sometimes it will get warm for a minute and get cold again. Im lost.

Just was driving home from work, and the car sounded louder then usual. LIke there may be a leak in the exhaust. It is more noticiable when Accelerating, but does seem to be intermitant. I made sure all the spark plugs were in tight and they are. I can't seem to find the source of the noise. Any suggestions?

I drive an 01 explorer 4WD and it whenever I'm driving it Revs up high and then jerks into gear at about 20-30 mph. Otherwise it runs pretty smooth. Transmission Fluid was just changed and that didn't change anything. Could this mean transmission is about to go bad? or any suggestions on anything else it can be? it is a V6 , and 4.0 engine

im planning on purchasing a 2007 ford mustang, hopefully on memorial day weekend. i would love to be the owner of a black mustang, but i dont prefer the white stripe running across the bottom of the body. the GT's don't have the stripe, but i plan on buying just a standard. are there any options that will allow me to purchase a standard 07 black mustang without the white stripe? i personally think it's too much of a contrast
