what is the proper fuse layout for a 2000 ford mustang. What would cause the instrument lights not to work.?

only works when I turn on the dome lights. I installed a new radio system.

Sounds as if you messed up a ground wire or two, maybe even blew a fuse.

Recheck your wiring job on the radio. You have something hooked up to the wrong wire and it's causing a direct short for instrument panel.
