im planning on purchasing a 2007 ford mustang, hopefully on memorial day weekend. i would love to be the owner of a black mustang, but i dont prefer the white stripe running across the bottom of the body. the GT's don't have the stripe, but i plan on buying just a standard. are there any options that will allow me to purchase a standard 07 black mustang without the white stripe? i personally think it's too much of a contrast

Go to the Ford website and spec out your Mustang. There is a stripe delete option but that is for the GT models. The base models do not have the stripe. Instead of waiting to buy of the lot. Go to the dealer and order one and have it built especially for you. It doesn't cost any more, and it will have all the options that you want and none that you don't want. If you are serious about this, contact me and I'll get you an X plan number, where you pay 1% over dealer's invoice plus you still get the rebates offered to the public.

Check out http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mustang/ and look at the available options. I'm sure the stripe can be deleted. I have seen black GTs around without the stripe, I think it's an option to have it actually, as opposed to having to option it out..

Yes you can buy it without the stripe. It is called a 'delete' option. Usually at no extra cost.
