Look at places like stangworld or other mustang sites. They have some that look like stock but are new up to date stereo's with hidden multi cd players and they have remote control too.

There are three things you can do.

1) Cut the metal dash and shove in any aftermarket stereo. (probably not the best option)
2) Custom Autosound has a number of decent stereos that will fit right in, will control a CD changer and in many cases, still retain a bit of a vintage look. Most classic mustang guys go with one of these units. I’ve run several myself.
3) Year One has come out with a fiberglass, aftermarket dash that acts as a nice trim ring for a new set of gauges and a standard single-DIN stereo. This is a nice option of you would like to customize your interior and run aftermarket gauges.
