checked wheel bearings and ball joints both seem to be good but the tie rod ends seem to have alot of twisting motion

sounds like your tie rod ends are bad set indide truck with engine off or running turn wheel side to side you can feel it jack car up take wheel off turn steering wheel have someone look at 6the tie rod ends.

Tie rods are bad if you can roll them back & forth or if you can shake them.

15 year old Vehicle. yes, I think it's time to have a garage or dealership take a look at the suspension.
