I have a 2000 Mustang. Sometimes at a stop light, the rpm goes way down like its about to die, then comes back up, sometimes too high. I removed the piece (intake valve???) the thing with the electrical wires connected to it, and cleaned it out with carburetor cleaner, put it back on, and also replaced the air filter (which was MUCH in need of change). I still have the problem. Not quite as bad, but still there nonetheless. I notice there is a little hex screw on the end of the valve. should i turn it ? Keep in mind I know next to nothing about cars, and I only knew to clean that from reading a forum. Do i need to buy a new one??
Thanks!!

does anyone know where the MLP switch on a Ford F350 is; and would this make the truck shift hard and put the engine light on? Husband is a heavy equipment mechanic, but he is stumped on this problem (his truck).

I have to be able to back up my statement about the T-Tops, and would appreciate any info you can share. Thanks!

Have checked several sources and cannot find information on this model. I was told T-Tops were optional for that year.

i have a old ford pickup with a 351 cleveland in it(NOT ORIGINAL MOTOR) i recently got dual exhaust put on it and when i get up to around 55 mph i hear loud backfiring out of the pipes.its a fast pop and happens a couple times a second.also a moth or so back it broke a lifter bridge on the drivers side of the motor.i replaced all lifters and push rods.i hear a slight tapping on the drivers side motor.can you think of anything that it possibly might be and what i could do to fix it. also it doesnt smoke, but everynow and then it does pope out of the carb example going up a hill or passing a car. i thought that might be timing but it didnt help when i adjusted it.

What is it more commonly known as, as I can't find any references to it on the internet and I want to know where to get piston rods, head gaskets etc. It's in a Ford Orion and looks pretty much like the standard stock engine.

I bought a 2002 ford explorer sport, not a big fan of ford but I liked the look of it and the price was right. Well I found one online and they look really nice lifted with bigger tires on them and since im moving back to arizona and do alot of offroading Im really intrested in doing this. So I was wondering what I should do first? I do want to lift it but not till I move to arizona but Im thinking of things like K&N , Exhaust and things like that.. Oh and are there any magazines that are strictly for ford explorer that I can order or something . Thanks alot

My battery light keeps coming on in my '92 Ford Taurus. The mechanic disconnected the battery cable to see if the alternator would quit and it didn't. What may be causing the battery light to come on and off?

We bought this Explorer used and need the code for the keyless entry on the door. The owner's manual says you have to get the code from the module or from the dealer. The dealer wants $32.50 to give me the code so I want to find the module. Please Help. Thanks.
