Yes , but to adjust it correctly you need a torque wrench that reads in inch pounds you should use a manual with the correct specs or your steering will not center it self and you will fight the wheel all the time. the torque wrench goes on the nut that holds the steering wheel on, you tighten the adjuster on the top of the steering box and turn the wheel lock to lock and adjust till you get the correct inch pound reading .But, If you want quicker steering get a steering box with a higher gear ratio. example you have a box with 4 turns lock to lock or from full left to full right. You would look for a box with a3 lock to lock, much quicker steering. they make mustang boxes with quick ratio steering for racing.

If you look at the steering column as it enters the engine compartment and follow it to the front you will see a box towards the end. On the top of this box you should see what looks to be a screw running through a nut. if you take the nut loose, and turn the screw clock wise, it should tighten the steering. Be careful not to over tighten, i suggest 1/4 turns at a time till you reach the desired reaction. Be sure to re tighten the nut or you may lose the ability to steer all together. Hope this helps. (never realy worked on anything but chevys)

Changing your tyres (and rims, if your current rims are steel - they flex too much) can help a bit. Otherwise, the only reliable way is to replace the ball joints and tie rods if they're getting a little old. For a little extra, you can also install a new steering box with less turns from lock to lock - and a better sway bar can also help (but don't make it too stiff, or you'll screw up your handling.)

If there is nothing loose, break loose the nut on the steering box while holding the center screw with a screw driver, then turn the center screw clockwise half a round then tighten the nut and try it.
