I just recently changed th battery and wires to my mitsubishi and i called the dealers and they want to charge me $46 for the code, can some one say RIDICULOUS! Thats the cost of a new one. Please Help!!!!! My car is so silent! I hate the silence!

I have a 1997 Chrsyler LHS. I put a new motor in it not long ago. Now I am having problems with the radio. When I want the radio on I have to put a fuse in to play the radio, when done driving I have to take the fuse out or battery goes dead. Also when i have the radio on my door lights stay on. It seems like a constant power thing. I took off door panels to look for lose wire have not seen any, or look for any problems with the wires, nothing..I can't listen to music at night driving. Also when i turn car on the heater comes on too.. Any help will be appericated

I own a 1998 Nissian Altima, and awhile back ago the tape deck in the car would no longer play my tapes. Whenever the tape feature is on, it makes a clicking noise and then gives me a tape err. I noticed my cd player also gives off a fritz noise whenever the weather seems to overheat. I was wondering, is there a way for me to fix the tape deck without replacing it because I would like to hook my cassette adaptor up in the car for my iPod.
