subs will not work, red led "Protect" light is on. I dunno what to do to fix it cause i don't know a whole lot about car audio and such.

It's a security feature.You can get a code book off of eBay pretty cheap and get the thing to go out.

I don't need half a page....

Possible causes:

1. One or more speaker is shorted internally or externally
2. An amp malfunctuion
3. Wiring

To fix it, find someone with an ohm meter (and who knows how to use it) to check the speaker's impedances and check out the amp.

I don't know what was so hard about explaining this since there are only three possible causes to this issue, amp, wiring or speakers.

This is a safety feature of your amp. It generally means there is a fault in your system. If you have only just connected your amp it can mean a number of things like a bad connection or possibly an internal fault within amp.

Sounds like something is not hooked up right, or you have a short.
