The surfboard will have a jet drive built into its rear end.
The weed eater motor will be sitting on top at the rear of the board behind a seat back inside a box with a snorkel.
What else is needed to get this little motor ready for salt water action? A special cooling core? An extra water cooling pump with an intake and an outlet?
What would normally be required to get a regular motor ready for water action?

All the documentation I've read has said not to, but the price difference is about $80 (US). The only difference I can see externally is a gasket on the solenoid. Internally, no clue. Plus this new one is new (obviously) and the old one is old. It's a 165hp Mercruiser. So Mercruiser 165. Any thoughts?

We live in Chicago and he loves the lake. The problem is that he has never boated before and knows very little about it. Everyone keeps telling me that boats are $ pit's. What are your feeling's? I feel like it's not a good time to buy something that guzzles gas! He is looking at a 28ft stingray.

It is a 1995 Sea-Doo speedster. The gauges don't work and the lights on the dash don't work. I have checked the fuses and they are all okay. It is possible the ground is bad but I don't know where to bring in a new ground. Any ideas?

I have a small lake and I want to make a decent, cheap, dingy so I can just hang out in I need some good step-by-step plans so I can make it. I would prefer if it had a mast and a rudder also.

Son built an early auto with down draft carb. but it didn't catch on
I was told. I was also told by an older man, there was one in Reidsville, NC owned by a minister. The man told me he had worked on the carburator. I don't know who either owner or man who I talked to was. It was in the year 2003 I think.

we need a pathway through the mass of lake weeds because the weeds get trapped and jammed in the boats rotor ... we need a path cleared for at least 500 meters boat width , the water is 1 to 2 meters deep so theres allot of thick dense lake weeds , using a sythe and home made sharp metal sticks is too much work , we need a machine of some sort which may run off of the boats motor , any ideas welcome , and websites with info on how to do this big job ....

regards

My dad and I are having an argument over the small amount of water that comes into my kayak through the small holes in the boat. I say the holes are part of the design, to better balance/ballast the boat when you're in the water, he says it's not natural and there's probably a leak somewhere.

My yacht mast is covered with many small pit marks in the anodizing, they are not deep but plentiful. ie about 15~20mm apart and on one side of the mast more marked than the other, possibly due to acid rain or similar. I am therefore considering painting the mast. (re-anodizing would be prohibitively expensive)
