I'm new to sailing and was looking into a first sailboat. Preferably one that is lightweight and can be stored in a garage... BUT I'm open to other possibilities.

I've been looking at Cat's and Trimarans.. What are the differences in sailing these? Benefits?

The motor has been missing for a while, and I've noticed a loss of power (somewhat gradual). Constantly quits now. When the problem first happened, we were up and running, and it just died. I've been able to get it running since, but it wasn't ever the same. Now 3 cylinders are at 90 psi, one is 0. I'm trying to figure if it is likely a ring, or reed valve (or something else??).

Ships have air-conditioning too. For landed buildings I understand that the cooling system involves chillers. How about ships?

the ship in question was being built at the same time as the titanic at Harland and Wolf shipyard and it was suspected that the two ships were swapped because the titanic was not ready for launch on time.

Okay, this is a serious question and I would value your advice.

Here is my situation. I bought my first boat in July of this year. I went cheap. It's a 1990 Sprint Pro Bass 266 with a Merc 115 hp outboard. Since I've bought it, the tilt/trim has gone out, I had to replace the voltage regulator, replace the shift and throttle cables. It's been out of the water for nearly a month. I replaced the trim motor/pump, but the new one already broke. The bait well pump and aerator don't work and I had to plug them because the shutoff valve doesn't close all of the way.

I've put close to $1000 into a boat that I bought for $2800. Because I don't own a vehicle that can tow it, I rent a slip for $200/month. So when the boat's not in the water, I am losing $.

I can get a Nitro 750, w/ 90 hr Merc, new for $16750. Don't want to spend that kind of $, but Mercury is running a 3 yr warranty special now on new engines. So that's 3 yrs with no worries. Thoughts?

Can someone please help me, on how to build a three-dimensional sailboat. I need instructions (step by step), diagrams, etc. If there is a helpful website that explains all of that, please guide me to it, or if u already know how, please explain it to me, thoroughly. Thank you for you help!

Apparently, when one stands in the guest corridor at one end, he cannot see the other end due to the ship curving down and then up again on the other side. Does this bend/curve actually exist? If it does, is it that dramatic?

Bearing in mind that on these boats you normally only have a few feet of water underneath you, you are rarely more that ten ot twenty feet from the shore or towpath, and can only travel at approximately 4 mph, what is the appeal?

What is it about them that makes people spend anything up to £150K buying them, and want to live on them?

Will be gunk holeing up and down the coast. Will I be able to get a wireless internet service for doing emails, internet etc?
And still be offshore a mile or 2, or in a cove along the shore?
Is the technology there yet?
