More specifically; how were the munitions of such bombers armed? In a situation of dire necessity, could their payloads be released without being armed; ad hoc leaving undesignated areas unharmed? Everything I have heard suggests that it was all or nothing.

I was on a longhaul Korean Air flight recently and their inflight entertainment was absolutely brilliant, particularly their music collection. Does anyone know how or if I can order a CD from the airline of their inflight audio compilation? Perhaps a KA employee might be able to answer this?

when the south korean plane was shot down by russians, can they not speak to the pilot to stay away fro their teritory. was it not possible to talk to them. If the attack was deliberate, then as reports suggested, can the Mig pilot not warn the airliner with voley of bullet fire before hitting a missile. Was it true that the Mig pilot cannot determine the airliner commercial or military. We see in movies where pilots can see a plane and talk between them. Was those things not possible in the air?
