I wonder, is a scram/ram jet airliner, that travels above the normal means of todays airliners, something of fiction, or are we close to this? It would seem if we could have such an aircraft able to take of and land at normal speeds, rapidily ascend to altitudes above the "sonic boom" noise envelope,it would be viable, cutting international times by 1/2? any thoughts? would love to hear from actual commerical aircraft drivers regarding training, problems etc. thanks

So I am about a year into college and was thinking about a career in aviation. I don't care about being a big airline pilot, just something like a small airline/sightseeing type pilot for now(just in that area.) What are the benefits of a college degree in aviation? Could I just get my commercial license and be something like a bush pilot without any college? How much would it cost/take to get my commercial license and what is the job outlook with it. Please don't copy and paste information of jobs sites, I really am just looking for personal experience in the subject.
Thanks!

If u've noticed, there are some morons here pretending to be pilots by going to FAA pages and doing the "cut-and-paste" thing and putting them as answers to show off. actually those are not pilots! real pilots gives short answers cos they don't have that much time to answer questions post by strangers! I know becos I'm a pilot, a super rich pilot. and the reason i have time into yahoo is becos i don't work for anyone, or any airlines for that matter. I am my own boss! So that doesn't make u a pilot by copying articles and posting them, that could be infringement of copyrights! I always feed back to the relevant authorities of those who break the copyright laws. Great (read: super rich) pilots like me give simple answers to simple questions. But correct ones! Moron pilots gives difficult answers to confuse those asking and pretend to be pilots by doing that. Employed pilots don't have much time here answering questions. Unless u're mega rich like me who have lots of time to spend! Duh!

Ok from time to time we hear of plane crashes. I was wondering what the passenger perspective is inside of the plane when it goes down. For example, if the jetliner does a nose dive into the ground, when it hits, do all of the people get flung forward? Does the cabin just crush like a can? Does everything just go black? What happens inside of the passenger cabin? Please explain in detail.

Yes that's right! if u're rich, damn rich! what would u own? Me? I'm just super rich! I have my own airline, and I'm a best of the best pilot around the world. I still have mountains and mountains of money to buy over other countries' airline if I want to. That'll depend on my mood. If I'm happy I'll donate millions to charity. If I'm not happy not a single cent will be given out. Cos rich pilot like me is difficult to find and I could be the way I'm now. U too could do what u like if u're as rich as me! (read: super rich!) So back to the question: If u're rich (but not as rich as me), what would u own?

I've been told the B747 is unable to do a reverse thrust to do a push back. And for that I've proven many wrong! full reverse thrust and I'm on my way. no need for the tug. People says heavies couldn't take off and climb vertical. I've proven them wrong again! after i took off in my personal B747. I immediately pull nose up 90 degrees and i still manage to climb vertical right up to 35,000 ft before i level off. what's impossible? those bird brain who thinks its impossible have been following orders too long and could not think out of the box! finally being a professional pilot, i think no one had beat my courage and wealth altogether! Winning is boring without credible competitors!

I've flown many aircrafts type more than any of u guys and I'm a professional. For this I think I can say I'm the best of the best. I've saved lots and lots of money and I'm having trouble on how to spend them. Can u guys (non-pilots) tell me how I should use my money?

i have just been on a few flights with Ryanair & you can sit anywhere but rows 3 & 4, the plane was i would say full on each of the flights but still no one could sit in these rows, is there a technical reason ie: weight distribution? i find it strange! they stayed empty all the time

Where are places around the world a low hours pilot can get a break? I have a CPL with NVFR rating, CIR and M/E endorsment, 450 hours total (100 PIC).

I am wondering where and who hires pilots with such little hours?

Cheers
