I'm curious about altitude capabilities of aircraft over the years. I mean, I know that with power plant improvements came the ability to climb higher. But "high" for 1928 surely wouldn't be the same as high for 1998. Does anyone know off hand stats like that, or is there a table somewhere/some aviation buff who's listed it on a page maybe? I've had no luck in finding an answer for that one.

Just sitting around SFO waiting for this plane to get its engine fixed...was just kind of curious to see what my chances of landing safely were. :P

I am doing a project and I need a sound effect, I need the noise that a flight attendant call button makes on commercial planes.

Any help would be great, oh and for all you smart asses out there I don't have time to get a plane and record the noise.

what would you say the effect of switching instructors multiple times early in your flight career (-30 hours) is as far as hours required for the student to become porficent?

I'm shooting for an hourly estimate, I've heard any ware from 7-15 hours for a student to get comfortable enough to start learning again

We are going to be flight testing our production aircraft. I would like suggestions from people with ballast testing experience as to what would be best to use, the types of configurations and/or equipment available for either securing to the seat mounts or into the seat itself. We would prefer to not use water as the weight, but are open to everything right now.

My father is 17 stone(240 pounds/ 109kg) he is looking for a microlite(those little buggies with wings and an engine to fly) or fan with a parachute, but preferably a 2 seater microlite that has enough horse power for his weight. Its not mostly fat, but muscle as he used to be a heavyweight boxer. We're living in ireland but anywhere in the UK or even europe would be fine. Woudl consider ordering from the US depending. Can anybody tell me a company, or a place that i could find/get one?

The 152 is like the best little trainer in the world"my opinion of course" Even the 150 is a great little plane, so why not cessna lets do it and get them rolling out on production. I think the general public needs an affordable faa certified aircraft. What do you think?
