I am doing a project and I need a sound effect, I need the noise that a flight attendant call button makes on commercial planes.

Any help would be great, oh and for all you smart asses out there I don't have time to get a plane and record the noise.

Here's a link. This came with a panel I downloaded for my Flight Simulator for free. The website, FlightSim.com, allows you to preview some of the files (e.g. screenshots, sounds, readme's, etc.), and this was one of them. It's from the real thing! I'm not sure if you can download it, though, from this link.
http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/zview?cm=view&fn=93/fx777pan.zip&an=B777-200%20Panel/Sound/Signs.wav
If you want to download it, go to http://www.flightsim.com/, go to the Main Menu, go to Search File Libraries (you will need to log in; it only takes like a minute or so, and it gives you access to all the content on the website, and contests and other things), search for file name "FX777PAN.ZIP". Download it, and the file is "Signs.wav".
Enjoy!
(If you'd rather not do that, I downloaded it already; send me an email, and I'll reply back to you with the file as an attachment.)

I found a sound effects web site that has some sounds that might be what you need, like Cabin Dinner Attendants AB01. Try searching with airplane, pages of stuff there.

The only thing I can think of is to contact www.alexisparkinn.com and see if they know of anything. Other than that, some of available soundboards might have one.

Any studio that's produced movies featuring jetliners is bound to have it somewhere if you can manage to get someone in the sound effects department.

Or ask around the music department of your school, I'm assuming you're doing it for school, and ask any of the teachers if they've heard it, know what note it is and see if you can get a tuning fork in the tone.

Like I said, best I can think of.
