It was not all my fault, My coat had a side pocket, and at the bottom of my coat was a unknown hole, that the walet must of sliped out, could be anywhere. Pilots are human too!

you can go on line and go to FAA.gov and see if they have any info to get you another commercial pilot certificate I'm sure its like the dmvs in the states they give you new id's and drivers licenses if you loose them also you can email them at the email address they always got one somewhere i know the FAA is responsible for the airman certification so they most likely can make you another and get you flying again

by the way how many hours have you logged?(just wondering)

I'm a pilot as well and I would contact the FAA for a replacement, however you reside in the UK and come under the CAA of the UK

I would click on: http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=288

Common sense would dictate that you return the place you first obtained your license. Just as you would with your drivers license. And you obviously must present a few forms of id to prove who you are. Because seriously, for all we know, you may be just another budding terrorist looking for an angle.

Perhaps if you contacted the FAA you would have more information given to you!

if you forgot where you put your wallet, what chance have you got finding an airport miles away. Keep on the ground is my advice. You need a level head and to lose a wallet is not a good thing.

To ask this question on here, I would not fancy my chances in a plane piloted by you, I think I would rather walk.

oh man... i was hoping for a good story explaining the reason you lost it... as in you did something really cool but stupid. bummer. ah....well. just call FAA and tell them you lost it... theyll tell you what you have to do.
