I'm taking my car to the dealer today but wanted to know if anyone might know offhand what the deal is... my car has been making this squeaky noise in in the front end of the car. It squeaks a little while in motion, but squeaks a lot louder when my car is idle. The check engine light has come on (don't know if it's coincidence). The strange part is if my car is turned off and I shut my door hard enough, I can hear the squeak in the front end....it's driving me nuts.

I have a 1995 Toyota Landcruiser, and it is overheating when I take it on the highway (not in town.) At some point the engine released (radiator fluid? muddy water?) though I was not there for the event. It is not leaking and no white smoke from the exhaust. There is no noticable leak internally. Mechanic has flushed three times, and now removing to "clean" and see if the bottom of the radiator a)can get water flow and b)has a crack or blown head gasket. Says I may need new radiator if cant clean. First, what do these symptoms indicate? Next, how much should it cost for new radiator? Last, is there a way to repair a radiator? I'm not a mechanic, and feeling slightly vulnerable to the specialists. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

About 10cm of stitching on the side of a leather seat with side air bags has given way. Is there any way I can get hold of the special thread (that splits on impact to allow activation of air bags)? My car is 6 years old and I do not want the expense of removing the seat, having it sent to a specialist repairer, who may have to restitch most of the seam, even though the split is only about 10cm (this solution offered to me by my car dealer). If I leave the split as it is, it will probably just get bigger. I know that the stitching has to be able to split when the air bags are activated, but surely it should be strong enough to hold the seat together under normal conditions!

I had asked a question about the same car 3 days back. The car is a Honda Accord EX 3 DR 1986. Carburettor model. I cleaned the carburettor and it is still stalling. The mechanic says that fuel pumps is not working well and this can caus stalling. I have taken car 8 KM both ways if I use choke on 2nd position all the time.
This pump had failed some time ago and was replaced by another used one. Can it be the pump or I am looking on an electrical fault like distributor?

pulled out in front of someone. He was found guilty for "failure to yield, right of way". The driver of the other car that hit him broke his leg severely, and had a steel rod installed, ...i am sure that it was painful. My question is, can he and his lawyers come after me for more damages money wise if his medical bills and pain and suffering go higher than my coverage? My friend had permission to drive my truck, and the accident happened in Tennesee. What is the threshold? My house is worth $22,000 at best, and i am on social security disability also....Can they take part of my check? I get $812 a month. Thanks in advance.
