I have heard Mercedes quality has gone down could some of you tell me in which areas.But is the Germanic solidity still there?Do the doors still shut like bankvaults?Is the interior quality still the best in the world?What areas are the new Mercedes weak in? What are the strengths of the new mercedes?What is better about the old benzes and what was bad about them?Which is the most reliable new benz/Which is the least reliable.IS IT TRUE MERCEDES QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN THE GUTTER OR IS JUST AN OVER STATEMENT AND THAT THEY ARE STILL GOOD?

Are C classes well built?
What about the E class?
The R class ,B class and ML class?

My car developed a "shimmy", & when I took it in for a regular oil change, I had the mechanic check this "shimmy". He said my wheel bearing was going bad, & I needed a hub assembly. He estimated the cost at $300. My dad told me that a new bearing should cost no more than $100. Why do I need a hub assembly? Is there some reason the mechanic cannot just repair or replace the wheel bearing? I admit, I do NOT know what a bearing or hub assembly is. Just wondering if I'm being ripped off. I do want to get the best care for my car, but don't want to spend money unneccessarily. Thank you for your answers.

Why does US gas have less octane and how many miles to the gallon and horsepower difference does it make.
Do low sulfer fuels really get 5% less mpg as seems to be the case?

I live in the US and plan on taking a MSF course soon and getting my first motorcycle. I would like to eventually take road racing classes. Used 600 cc sport bikes seem to go for good prices, but I know they would have too much power(for learning on the streets and the track).

Does anyone have experience or advice about acquiring and using restrictor kits/throttle stops or other methods on a motorcycle to improve safety when learning?

Also, I am 6'2 and it sounds like many of the intro bikes may be too small. I would like to put a restrictor on something like a ZX6R or CBR600.

I recently bought an out of state motorcycle and a California DMV rep told me that it needs to be verified with the DMV before getting registered. I currently dont have any mirrors on the bike.. is that needed?

The dealer that I purchased the vehicle for pretty scammed me into purchasing the vehicle. I bought it 250 miles from home so I had to take a one-way bus trip to get. Before getting the bus ticket I asked ALL necessary questions to avoid an unnecessary trip but when I got there it was a different story. Let me point out I am a 1st time buyer too. The purchase price of the vehicle wasn't the same as discuss, the features weren't, the mileage weren't, the and the appearance wasnt. I was pretty much stuck there because I got a one-way ticket and you know how salesmen are...pressuring me...so I ended up buying the car just to drive home and not have to wait hours to a whole day to catch another bus home. The dealer lied to the finance company and asked me to lie to the company when they called me for a follow up but I didnt because they didnt ask. The dealer also lied on my application (didnt put down the info I gave him, but I know I would have still been approve if he did). Help me!!!!!!
