mine makes a ugly noise when I turn the steeringwheel and it does'nt need powersteering fluid, what else might be the prob??

I have one... Could be rack and pinion or power steering belt. Pull on blet if it has any slack, tighten it or have it changed. could also be the pistons going out in the pump (this would make the car hard to steer)

steering pump needs replaced if full of fluid and belt not slipping good luck

could be the pump bearings wearing out
