I have a business license in Michigan. When I do a transaction, I always charge sales tax of 6% (MI sales tax)
If I do a sale over the internet, to a person out of state, whose sales tax do I charge? Could you please include a link? Thanks!

...Has little to no real impact. I know that the Federal Budget deficit is more a talking point than a real financial strain, but I don't know exactly how that is. Can someone explain it "in English"....as opposed to "in Accountant?"

It's been about six months now and still no state taxes have been withheld. They withheld taxes for the wrong state from my first two checks and now nothing since. Their excuse is that ADP (the company that handles our direct deposit transfers) isn't getting the tax ID number. I've paid estimated tax myself for two quarters this year now, but I don't want to have to keep doing that, especially since the payroll person is supposed to be handling it.

The tax value of my property is less than the assessed value done when i bought the property less than a year ago. Even though this lowers my yearly tax bill, will i be caught later on when i try and sell the place? What are the pro's and con's (if any) of having a difference between the assessed value and tax value of a property?

I receive payments for work that I do online through paypal. I will have made well under $1000 by the end of the year. I have no other job. How will I file my taxes? I am usually used as a dependent on someone else's taxes, but will not have tax forms this year, so what do I do? Also next year I will doing the same line of work and will probably make around $10,000 will this change anything besides being able to be counted as a dependent? Please help.
