Does anyone have a cool slogan for a toy shop called "HANDS" that sells toys.
Needs to be catchy and realistic, will give 10 points to the best answer and will give credit in catalogue.

Hi,

I run a small design company as a VAT registered sole trader. In the coming years, I want to be able to buy premises rather than lease. I will obviously need a sizable deposit to do this.

What is the best way to save my money for a five year period without the taxman giving my savings a beating? Can I invest them somewhere?

Thanks In Advance
Steve

We sell hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and more. We currently have a retail store and online site, but we want a sales force to go after teams. What would be the best way to set this up? Straight % would not work, since margin is different for each item. Any ideas

I own a great new brand of naturally based bath and body products and the time has come for me to do some marketing- i want to get tiny product samples of the body sprays, lotions and body butters into trendy clubs and salons, and stores (as free giveaways). I have seen people in clubs distributing free stuff in little baggies- my question is how do I get into those?

I know once people try them they will like them, but I need to get them into people's hands first. Where might I start to do this? Thanks for your help!

Hello everyone. I have a small giftshop in a small town, first it was run by my mom but now i´m all by myself. It has been there for nearly 18 years now but a few months ago, one of the neighbors who had a paper´s shop on the next block started to sell the kind of stuff I sell. I think that´s not fair, but the only thing I think I can do is to improve my own shop so the customers prefer to buy there.

I really, really need some cool ideas, like new stuff I can sell or new services I can offer, also cool original ideas for gift wrapping or decorating the place would be good.

Thank you everyone.

We're both 19, eagle scouts, and have perfect credit (never missed a payment on anything). We're looking to open a small café. I've been working as a barista at Starbucks for some time now and have been paying close attention to how the whole store works. I've learned just about everything about running the place. My associate works in sales at sears, and knows more about business and sales than anyone I know.

How likely is it that we'll be able to get a loan to open said café? Will our age turn them off immediately? Will the fact that we are both eagle scouts help anything?

We're both very determined to open this café.

Do you consider your downline to be similar to hiring employees or as a compilation of businesses?

If you consider them to be like employees, do you push them to strive for more sales or more recruiting (if your answer is sales or both, how much does your average downline do in sales per month)?

If you consider them separate businesses of their own (thus assuming you don't depend on your downline for income), how much personal volume (sales on your own) do you do?

***please don't come in here telling me you do all sorts of personal sales without stating how much monthly PERSONAL volume you do and what percentage of it you earn as commission. I need hard numbers, even if they are estimates.

Thanks.

I own a small, yet established and successful translation company. I'd like to sell it within a few years. To plan for the sale, it would be good to know what's most important: annual sales figure? profits? goodwill? Some buyer might say "Your sales figure is great, I don't care about your profits, since I'll apply my own procedures and pricing and make a better margin", while another might say "All I care about is your profit margin: what is it?". Then, what's the best way to go about selling it? Business brokers? Private agreement? Any helpful info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
