You're a little entrepreneur at heart with a great business idea! Try selling them to your friends at school. Suggested prices for small marble rocks are anywhere from $1.00 to $5.00. You could wrap them in either a clear or special tissue paper with colored string to tie the wrap to help make the rocks appear more attractive and special. Also, tell your potential buyers what makes the rocks special and different. Are they collectibles? rare fossils? Would they be nice to display in their rooms/homes, or around gardens?

Rocks or stones may not command a good price in the market but it will develop an enterpreneurial spirit in you. Try selling it house to house and you will be surprised that people will buy it .you just have to be creative and don't sell your rock and tell them you can teach it to speak(that;s what adults do when they advertise :)
And here in Asia we sell it over to the US in big quantities(truckloads)We even sell painted stones in Japan as pets. Don't give up anything will sell. Remember the coins and papers that you have right were not money before. They used rocks too to buy what they need.GOOD LUCK! May you be the next Donald Trump.

You can only sell them to people local, because they will weigh too much to ship.

Honestly, if you polish the rocks, and then take pebbles and make little "people" glued on them, maybe with computer keyboards and googly eyes, you might be able to sell your "rock stars" if you can make them really cute.
