I'm work as an Engineering manager in a local firm , but recently my boss has been ignoring my present . He would appoint other people to do the job i used to do . I was thinking of quitting but i finds it hard to forgo the salary i'm drawing . I ask him what happen but he don't seem to want to answer me directly , that is why , i'm thinking of a sideline . What am i to do ?

I would say go for the sideline but first of all you must read your contract of employment with great care as many firms insert clauses preventing you from doing other work or setting up a similar business in the same area. These clauses are binding and if you break them you can be sued and lose any redundancy money or compensation for being dismissed as well as getting a heavy bill for damages.

Stick it out and make the sucker give you unemployment when they fire you and find another job..but don't let it get past 6 months of non work coz that will mess w/ your credit..
