One employee is long standing with 4 day shifts a week..the other is a newly hired, long time customer, who does a few nite shifts per week....This is a one employee per shift bar and bartenders don't come easily.

My fiance have been working for a company for 10 years, and want to go out on our own. We work in the visual art field. Right now we have a steady paycheck there. We have begun a business of our own in the same field and do it in our free time. We are stuck in a place where we don't have enough time to bring in alot of our own jobs because we work for our other company so much. Yet how could we just quit cold turkey from our day job not being sure if our business will take off enough to pay the bills? We'll never really know if it can work if we don't make the time and put all our efforts into our own business. We are taking just enough work in to pay the rent each month (all we have time for).....which is sort of a waste. It's a catch 22 that I'm sure many people have been in. What do you do?

its like a hotdog stand where people can jst get some and eat it on their way to work...but it aint hotdog..we're thinking of rice meals to go. any ideas on packaging? it has to be CONVENIENT--for the buyers, PRESENTABLE--for marketing purposes, and of course, AFFORABLE packaging--low on cost but definitely safe, clean, etc.

Okay, So I have started my business and I get lots of calls for it. However I work 9 to 5 and I cannot call the people back to get them what they need. This is the only way I will get paid. Now it is a bit of a catch 22 because I cannot quit my job, i get paid alot and it covers my rent and the money that i use to keep my business running( not alot of money- just website fees and some minimal advertising). i do not have an office for my new business and do not want to invest in one as of yet. Should I hire someone part time to make the calls and get the ball rolling? This would mean that they would need to work out of my house while I am at work and I am not too comfortable with that. someone please give me some advice. I really want this to take off and I am not giving it my all because i am lettig customers fall between the cracks.
