There are a number of free seminars on entreprenership advertised in the paper. Most claimed that you can start a business with minimum capital.Are they true to their claim? And what other alternatives are there for a start up?

As i have not attended those talks before, I would be unable to tell you if they are true to their claim.
But as a person who has been running a business for about 4 years, my experience is that opportunities only come to those who grab it ;)

I've owned and operated my own business for the last 19 years. IT has its ups and downs. But a lot of times your family suffers from owning your own brick and mortar business.
