Small Business - July 2006

i work in a tourist shop in a state. Tourists come on cruise ships and have several hours to shop/take tours. The shop doesn't sell the souveneiers like a bunch of other shops but it sells other things of another nationality. I have been there for 3 years. first year was great, second not so great, and now it doing reallly badly, what can i do to pick up my business?

I always felt that a liquor store would be good since you don't have to work too hard at it. None of the product goes bad like it would in Subway etc. This is me brain-storming. I need someone's advice on how to get started. How much money does the inventory cost? Do you lease the store or own it?

If you are working full time from a home based business, or MLM than please hook me up! I'm ready to get out of the rat race. I've done a couple things in the past, made a few thousand dollars, and things just seem to crumble. ( When you're team support are all rich crack-heads, it doesn't help.) Thank you for your time.

I am looking to incorporate a small business corporation. My accountant advised a LLP, but I am not sure if a corp. would be more prudent. Also I am vaccilating between incorporating in NJ, MD, or VA. Anyone know any major advantages to doing it one way over another?? Thanks in advance.
