I currently have 2 traditional IRA accounts which only yield 1.84% through Bank of America, which is barely enough to cover the management fee for the accounts. I would like to transfer the money eventually to a higher yielding IRA or mutual fund account but would like advice on the best place to put it.

My niece and little sister are really wanting to go to build a bear in the summer time.I calculated it all up and In order to do so I need about $200 for each girl an animal, accessories, shoes and whatever...plus food and a treat for themselves. What's the easiest way to save that amount of money without having a job and without selling myself lol.

okay, these loans have been consolodated through "Direct Loans" "US Dept. of Education", we pay on it every month but the interest is killing us! Is there a such thing as transferring this debt to some place more affordable?(Loan totals $22,000.00). I just need to know if the way we are currently paying it is the best/smartest/only way to go.

i am trying to make minimal home repairs that will amount to around $1500 so that it can be in a sellable condition, but I don't know if we should get a loan or request $ from 401k...we plan on repaying that money with the gain from the sale...if we leave the house as is, it will sell for even less than any repair value that we put into it. HELP!!!!!!!

What are some good ways for a giirl to make money with out your parents finding out?

I never thought I was rich growing up, because my family lived very modestly and we always clipped coupons and drove old cars and shopped for bargains and our house was a lot smaller than our neighbors and we didn't wear fancy clothes, yada yada yada. So I always assumed that I was just comfortable middle class.

But now I'm living in a new area for school, and it seems like everyone else here has lots of student debts and that money is a real issue for them. They still spend more than me on everyday things, though. Like food, booze, clothes, music, and rent. I live with roommates in order to save money because that's just the way I am.

But I recently learned that I have $600,000 in the bank in my name, thanks to investments my parents made for me as a kid.

I'm just wondering: is this very unusual? Does this make me a "rich person"? It's a weird feeling because I've always sided with the little guy and I don't like to think of myself as elite. Am I just lucky?
