hi there, around 9 months ago i took out a loan for £6000, i'm repaying this @ £158.57 a month over 4 years,i recently got laid off from my job, the loan payment was meant to go out today but yesterday i cancelled the direct debit for it (after i rang the loan company telling them the situation, they advised me to cancle direct debit and let them know when i want to pay the payment before the next months payment), i've got around £40 in the bank, i started a new job today but won't get paid for 2 weeks (work a week in hand) and thats just over minimum wage.

i used the loan to purchase a car, i was wondering would the loan company accept my car to pay off the remaining debt? (its around £5200), the car is worth around £4800.

Or have any of you got any ideas? it's really stressing me out so much so that i can't sleep.

I recieved a personal check as payment for something I sold on Ebay over a year ago. I was going through a drawer recently and found it, I had never deposited it. It's dated 8.30.05...is it too late to deposit this? What should I do?

I went to cash a money order for an old camera i sold on eBay. The bank took forever in giving me my $$$ and then gave me the weirdest look. It was like they suspected me of something. I know this sounds paranoid, but it was really weird. It was a legit postal money order. Has anyone ever experienced this? Bizarre.

Hello...

I have found a good few websites from the wholesale pages www.esourses.co.uk, and esourses say that these's companies are verified supplier....

I have checked out their website and they have a few good things on their website... But they accept payment via Moneygram, Western Union or Bankwire.... Are these safe?

I want to start getting out of debt so we can afford some stuff for ourselves. I feel like I need to pay these debts off and then think about what we need in our home. I mean we have food and clothes and all but, just the things that needs replacements like furniture. How do I go about getting out of debt quick but not paying everything at once? I really don't want to deal with a debt counselor.

Quit work in Nov 04. Waited for employer to give Profit Sharing contribution, and then waited for plan to be valued. Finally, in May 06, I received my $5,000 distribution and rolled it into an IRA.

Now 6 months later, I received a letter from my previous employer stating they made an error in March 05 or $450. They are demanding I repay the money PLUS about $70 in interest.

I do not want to repay, and the letter threatened that they will file papers to compel me to repay.

It was their mistake from over a year ago, and they paid my distribution. Must I repay what they say I owe?

Thank you!

I would like to know how you handle your budget? Do you set a monthly budget and live to the budget? Do you set a yearly budget including things like car insurance, liscence plates, back to school and Christmas? Just curious to what level of detail the general population manages their finances. Thank you.

If you had 1 day, $100,000.00 to spend or lose. (Spend means to exchange for goods or services aquired at the time of purchase.)
The 1 day could be your choice within the next 7 days.
