That's a tight deadline.

Try to see what you could sell on eBay
Ask your boss for an advance against next month's wages
Borrow it from a friend

You have 10 days left, so £50 a day shouldn't be too hard. Go to a warehouse temp agency and say you'll work any hours up to Dec 1st - they'll snap you up.

If you already have a regular PAYE job you should be able to get an overdraft from the bank you pay your wages into.

If you already have an overdraft then you're not good with money and there's no point you having an extra £500!

Hold a load of car boot sales of all your rubbish (it's amazing how much you can get for what you regard as 'tat'!). Don't drink. Don't smoke. Eat fresh food, no expensive ready made stuff. No eating out. No little treats (like chocolate cake, Mmmmmm). Walk to work, or at least limit your travel to save fuel bills. Turn your heating down a notch or two (again, save on fuel bills). Little things, but you've got time if you stick with it!

It really depends who you are and what your skills are.

If you are over 18 you may be able to get a temporary assignment through a temp agency.

I don't know what the shopping looks like in your country this weekend, but in the US this weekend is a HUGE shopping weekend and stores need a TON of help, so maybe you could get a job.

You could try selling things on eBay and requiring immediate payment--if you have $550 worth of stuff to sell (the extra $50 is to cover the fees).

Good luck!

Go to car boot sales very early and auction stuff on ebay. You should be able to make a good return if you get the right stuff.
