Salaried people pay taxes but have to bear with pathetic infrastructure. Business people hardly pay any taxes so can't complain. Shouldn't salaried people unite and boycott the taxman by refusing to file returns? After all, they pay fantastic amounts fairly. Why should they go through the cumbersome process of filing returns even if many of them dont have another income?

This fall, I am going to be bringing home an extra $180-200 per month. I don't forsee any changes in my spending habits. What should I do with it? Should I put some extra on my mortgage (6.5% rate)? Should I put it in savings (4.35% yield)? I know all about the tax issues, etc. I just want to know what makes the most sense to you.

Do you know the difference between an advisor and a broker? What qualities do you look for in an advisor? Would you respond to a letter or advertisement? If you needed one, how would you find one?

Every time i come up with an idea , someone else steals it and makes a huge profit while trying to kill me or shut me up. How do i get investment as they do everything from make me lose my job, wife ect while trying to send me mad. One particular rich greedy bigot wont leave me alone . He goes as far as threatening my family and children. Killing my friends i tell about these ideas. Hes already had me incaserated so whatever i say gets pushed aside as madness, all i want to do is help people but if i dont do what he wants me too i get messed with continually by this terrorist until it sends me crazy enough to self imolate.

A couple years ago, I bought an antique toy typewriter from the 40's-50's era from a weird guy at the flea market. It's not in complete working order: the ribbon turning mechanism is busted, and some of the keys stick. But it still is a beautiful machine. (Note: The only thing that makes it a toy is its small size.) I am wondering whether I should sell it or keep it because it is such an epitone of the 40's-50's. Go to www.myspace.com/robertalfredson for pics of it.

If you read "The Great Bust Ahead" (Arnold), "The Great Boom and Bust Ahead" (Harry Dent), or "Prophecy" (Robert Kiyosaki), you'll find that we're headed toward a depression that could last between 12-14 years; starting around 2010.
There are too many people over-extended on credit and a glut of baby boomers will be retiring.
Based on the factual data for the past 80 years, once the current 49-54 year old age bracket moves into retirement, there will no longer be the economy-driving spenders we once had.
Also, the 70.5 year olds are required by law to start withdrawing from their 401k's.

They should have change machines at bank ATM's instead of only giving you the option of 20's and making you go stand in line for change. I do my laundry at my apts. so I'm always going to the carwash for change.
