about a year ago i invested money into 'buying art' were I was advised by a once clsoe friend that I could double my money in 6 months.

any how the the bloke who introdued my mate to it kept putting it off etc, a year later its at the point where so say this company have been declared bankrupt or had there money frozen!

the company in question is 'classic art inc'

what the hell can I do? I remember I wrote the cheque out to the company so is there any way of legal proccedings agaisnt them? any help would be appreciate as I jsut want my moeny back now! its gone on long enough.

Just wondering, can the Royal Mail withhold your mail, or not deliver it, without informing you in advance or telling you at all, or can't they withhold it under any circumstances?

(Asking because I've failed to receive quite a bit of mail I was expecting lately, the sender insists they sent it, and the post office insist they're not holding anything)

Here's the problem:

LaBamba Company pays salaries of $10,000 every Monday for the preceeding 5-day week (Monday through Friday). Assume December 31 falls on a Tuesday, so Labamba employees have worked 2 days without being paid.

a) Assume the company DOES NOT use reversing entries. Prepare the December 31 adjusting entry and the entry on Monday January 6, when Labamba pays the payroll.

b) Assume the company DOES use reversing entries. Prepare the December 31 adjusting entry, the January 1 reversing entry, and the entry on Monday, January 6, when Labamba pays the payroll.

If you can figure this out you're a genius. I know I'm supposed to make some type of journal entires, but I'm stumped.
