Some online shopping sites ask for the last 3 numbers of your CCV number when purchasing something. If someone stole your credit card they could easily flip the card over and see the number anyway.

I work in a small office and we all keep our personal cell phones on all day and answer them when we get a call. I am just wondering what the rest of the world is doing now that cell phones are so popular.

Thanks for your answers! Have a great day!

another ebay question- i want to open a ebay consignment store... how exactly does it work... i know how to list the items and all of the ebay part but how do you charge for the service to the original seller of the item? is there a set percentage to charge and what about ebay listing fees is that considered to be covered int he percentage or do you charge a listing fee also?! Then do we ship the item out or expect the original seller to ship it out... and if we do - do we charge for that also (packaging materials. time. etc.) or is that also included in the percentage charged to the original seller? Thanks for you help!

How many small companies can run up a £30,000 electricity bill in a quarter? We've just had one. No surprises for guessing that Powergen sent an estimated bill.

In case you want to know, the meter in question is nowhere to be found in the building... Spooky, huh?

The Story - In 1998 Coca-Cola set up a bottling plant in Perumatti in the southern state of Kerala. Since it opened, local villagers have complained about the fall in the amount of water available to them and have blamed the fall in supplies on Coca Cola who, they claim, use up to a million liters per day at the plant. Coca-Cola claims that the shortage in the water is due to the lack of rains in the region. Coca-Cola even sends round tankers of water to the region to help the local community. Local farmers are claiming that their livelihood has been destroyed since the building of the plant and that the number of people working on the land has dropped considerably because they cannot survive.

My husband is going to let a guy he knows borrow his car for a month. He needs a contract written up saying that if anything should happen to the car (even like a window being broken) that the person who borrowed the car will purchase the entire care for the amount of 4,500 dollars. I could type it up my self but I wanna see what others come up with that sound...official.

We have about 100 people working in our call centre and on the whole they are very positive. We like however to give them an added lift sometimes by having ‘fun days’. We have previously had the entire contact centre dressed as clowns, provided free lunches at the desk (the management being the waiters etc) and other fun stuff but we are running out of ideas, can anyone help? Thanks.

Since 1983 every job that I have had my bosses refuses to listen
to me whenever I tells them to buy a computer to make a task a lot
easier. In my last job my boss choose to spend 12 hours doing a
inventory order that I could do in less than 3 hours with a computer
using MS Excel. I have had many bosses tell me you do the work
let me(the boss) do the managing. I have gotten this attitude from
female managers. My motto: If the best is possible, then better is
not good enough
