My current employer is not claiming all my hours on the payroll. This has happened in the past, but recently he has shorted my paychecks by 14+ hours.

My boss wants me to respond to blogs, in such a way that I'm promoting the company product. It's a sneaky spam technique. I don't agree with it; I feel like I'm a lie. Do I tell my boss I can't do it? He could fire me.....

Every time I hear people talking about money, they always use complicated and confusing jargon that's difficult to understand. Where can I learn more about money and what you can do with it?

Like I want to know what work experience people have done in order to get into the top 20 or top 50 MBA schools.

I also would like to know what type of grades and test scores they recived or wut type of undergrad school they went too.

if you can direct me onto a good site or form where real people who have gone through the process put their input that would be great.

Thanks!

PS) I am trying to land a job in finance maybe as an analyst or in the area of investment banking. If you know how I can land such a job as a Jr. in College (ie. websites or people themsevles) I would really love the input!

I breed show animals. A past adopter of three animals signed a written agreement that had many stipulations, including that no animal(s) would be abandoned, and if she could/would not care for them, to contact us to reclaim them. She contacted me to tell me that she has released one of them into the wild cause he was unfriendly. I have informed her that I will be reclaiming the other two animals this weekend.

She is now threatening me with her "multi-million dollar lawyer father", and telling me she will have me arrested if I show up at her door this weekend.

Does she have any legal right to do this? If I go down to reclaim them, can I be arrested? Do I need to take her to court in order to obtain my animals? It seems very clear to me that she abandoned an animal, and said she would not.

Can anyone help with this?

How are bank employees paid, assuming that the money we (and corporations) put in the bank is ours/theirs. Where do banks get the money from to pay its employees?

On the back of priority envelopes, it says, "any postage applied to the envelope must be canceled by a usps employee". What does this mean? Thanks

I recently shipped an item, which I packed myself, though I was told to let someone pack it professionally but I didn't want to pay for the extra expense. Well, the package arrived damaged and the claim I filed was not approved because of insufficient packing even though I bought insurance. Can I sue to get my money for the damage?

Sunday, 10:00 a.m., store opened, about a dozen people were shopping. George & Ginny casually go up and down the aisles filling their basket and 45 minutes later end up at the register where they are sadly informed that the "computers are down and we cannot check anyone out. They have called the main office." In the meantime customers are coming and going. George asked if the wait would be long because he didn't want to put everything back but also didn't want to wait for several hours. "We don't know, we've closed the doors and aren't letting anyone else come in."
Ginny offered her great idea of simply writing by hand the SKU identification number of the merchandise and the cost, then adding it up, adding the tax, and letting people check out, "the old fashioned way." Everyone chuckled and continued to wait. Finally, George asks if he could at least put his name on his merchandise and ask them to call his cell when he can "check out."

What would you do as the store supervisor?

Am I legally at risk if I were to create a summary of a book and provide access to it online as a download? Key phrases in the book would be repeated, but overall, it would be a summary written by someone else (pretty similar to 'Cliff Notes'). Do I NEED to get any permission from a publisher or autohor, or can I write and make available such a summary independent of any such interaction with the author/publisher. If it were necessary to notify the publisher, would my obligation simply be to notify the publisher, or would I have to seek their permission? I would not be quoting passages verbatim, but would be using some of the key terminology/phrases in the book, where required.

The content would be a summary of a full book - not a review or comment on the bug. Rather, it would be written to be a shorter substitute to the original.

I keep getting those stupid letters from 'attorneys' in South Africa, telling me about all the money I can make if I put up some money in an account here, blah, blah, blah.
Or, that a long lost relative of mine has died there, and has 5 million dollars to leave to me. Obviously, I always dump them, but was wondering is there a place we can send them to? Like, a 'spoof' address for the government? Is anyone actually, trying to stop this kind of trash?

I have a $1 bill from 1988 and on the back under the word ONE where the little number is its on the left hand side instead of the right. If you look at any currency the number is on the right hand side. This was a mis print and the number is on the left side. Just curious to know if i can get a value on it.

....We keep getting these letters in the mail about potential winnings for a sweepstakes, and that our numbers have been drawn by computor for so much money. Do you know anybody that has won anything like this thru the mail? Are they for real? It would be nice. We hold on to the hope that someday we'll be ok financially, so we enter into them.
.....What do you know about them?

If you're reading this, please take literally one minute and go to the site below and click on either the banner at the top or one of the blue words within the text (a box will pop up over the word).

Only click one time though! (and keep the window of the page open for like a minute--then it registers as a click.)

I'm trying to raise money to start a band. and we get some change for every click on that stuff. Sorry to bother you guys, but music stuff is expensive, and even our jobs aren't enough for all the junk we've gotta get and instruments we need to repair! haha

Don't worry, it's not spyware or spam or any of that junk.

thanks for the help!

I was just curious as to the reasons why it is better (or cheaper?) for the buyer to have the seller carry the contract? It seems like there is a lot of money saved as to having you (or the bank? who would carry it if the seller didn't?) carry the contract. What does the contract even represent? My landlord doesn't carry the contract, the lady who he bought it from does. Our rent is incredibly cheap when compared to other houses around campus. Any information/knowledge would be appreciated!
