My boss wants me to respond to blogs, in such a way that I'm promoting the company product. It's a sneaky spam technique. I don't agree with it; I feel like I'm a lie. Do I tell my boss I can't do it? He could fire me.....

There's really nothing wrong with it unless you believe the company you're working for or the products your boss's company's selling are truly scams? If you don't believe in the company/products and you actually feel this is all a lie, then let him know you can't do it and be prepared to walk away and find another job. Or do it for a while until you find another job and simply say "I can't do this anymore". It's all a part of networking the business and there's really nothing wrong with it if it's done properly. You can word the answers in ways to promote the company/product that won't sound like a scam or cheating. But if you don't believe in the product, then by all means, don't do it!
