Go to the library to look at Yellow Pages from big cities. The ads are placed in the order of time in the book. (usually the most successful ones). Find ads in your specialty and copy ideas. Most people are right handed and turn the pages right to left. Try it and see where you index finger ends up. You can place your ad anywhere on a page. Ads in columns cost way less and sometimes get lots of attention. Get a new phone number just for the Yellow Pages. When that number rings you will know where the call came from. Yellow Pages really work and they are worth the price. When renewal time comes you can negotiate for a lower price or better ad by changing small things.
Good luck.
