I have constant problems with Wells Fargo and they do nothing to help me. Would I contact FDIC? Better Business Bureau?

This sounds kinda weird to me like a scam or something. i guess if you have a doubt about it, it probaly is. I got this letter in the mail back on monday or so with a cashiers check for like $3,000+.Saying I had this unclaimed money. OK...Ive had money from a job I never picked up before and it come across on that missingmoney .com website and i got that. But this is from a bank in florida(never lived in florida) printed on a real cashiers check(or looks to be). I looked up the bank on the net and its a real bank but the phone # on the check is different than the one on the website and I keep hearing about scams sorda like this but not exactly. has anybody gotten something like this in the mail recently? Someone said deposit it my account..the worst that could happen is it say nonsufficient funds or whatever. Or go to a check cashing place and see what they say. Dont think Ill do it but just want to see if someone has gotten anything like this lateley. What kind of scam this or what

A promissory note payable to me, was signed by the borrower in the presence of myself, and a notary. However, she didn't have her stamp with her. Is this still a valid document? She (the notary) said it was, because her commission hasn't expired, she verified i.d., etc. But now that the borrower has not repaid the sum, we are going to court. If my unstamped-but-notary-signed document isn't valid, I need to know!! Thanks!

I am needing a report to show what we spent with certain vendors for this year and a report to show what we spent each month. I have the vendor balance summary that shows what we spent all year, but when I try to narrow that down to monthly, my numbers aren't changing. I need a monthly report that doesn't include the total from the previous month in the total.

I live in the state of Georgia, and want to establish a small non-profit equine rescue operation. At present I have thirty acres with barn leased in north Ga., but I live some distance from it. Ideally, I would like to get enough grant money to either buy or lease a place where I could live on the property. I have over forty years experience with horses. I also have a vet. and blacksmith on board, but I have no resources at all, and don"t know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i closed my bank account about 4 months ago but need to show my landlord proof. i lost the original paper the bank gave me show that i closed my account and need another one. can a bank still give you proof of closing an account after so long? has anyone ever done this befor because the account i closed was from a small credit union in another city about 60 something mile away from wher i live now and i dont want to drive there to find out i couldnt get a copy. plus i dont have the phone number of the place.

Everybody knows the price of gasoline goes up daily. We here in America have gotten used to low gas prices. What can we as citizens of this country do on an individual basis to reduce them?

I know about cutting what it cost us as individuals. How do we get the price per gallon to reduce?
