I am the treasuer for a sorority and many of our alumnae have not payed there "after graduation" dues, and some of them have not even payed their dues from when they were active. It's not fair that my generation has limited funds, because our alums havn't paid us what they owe.
When someone joins, they have to sign a paper that says they will pay a certain amount within 2 years of their graduation. So is there a way to start charging interest, or late fees? If so, how can I go about doing this? Do I need to fill out anything to make it legal and legitamate? Or can I just tell them "if you don't pay by this date, we will start charging interest at this rate."?

I need to know if I need a business license and a nursery license just to sell a few plants at a yard sale or flea market as a hobby. I also heard that if you live in an agricultural zone area that you don't need a business license at all when growing and selling plants. Can I just get like a hobby license instead?

I am going to start babysitting two little girls ages 10 months and 3 years. It will be 4 days a week from 7am till 5:30 pm. I haven't been a sitter in a few years and wanted sme ideas on how much to ask for. Should I just charge by the hour or should I ask for a set amount each week? Also, if you know what the rates are in your area could you tell me that? Thanks.

I just started working from home, and I know I can receive faxes through my email, but most places charge fees for everything! Is there a free online fax service that I can use that won't charge me for the fax number, sending faxes, or receiving faxes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks! =)

At our local McDonalds you can get a large drink for $.69 instead of the $1.50 it normally is. Yet, I saw and heard 3 people in front of me in line order like a Big Mac and a small drink. Now, a small drink is still $1.00. So here they are paying $.31 more for a smaller cup when they could get the huge one for less. They could even fill the big one up halfway to be the same amount of drink as the small, yet they insist on paying more. What gives??

I've seen people do this with value meals too. They'll order the exact same items as a value meal and when asked if they want the meal price instead by the McDonalds workers they say no and demand what they asked for.

Are they just idiots??
