I just started working from home, and I know I can receive faxes through my email, but most places charge fees for everything! Is there a free online fax service that I can use that won't charge me for the fax number, sending faxes, or receiving faxes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks! =)

It would be e-mail w/ attachments. :)

Most PC's have windows fax. You can use your home number and receive faxes on screen. You can also send documents from your PC. If you have a hard copy, it will have to be scanned. The program has to set up, but it is usually there. I set up my sister in law's PC last weekend. It was fairly easy.

If you are using dial up, you cannot be online when a fax in incomming/outgoing. If you have DSL, you will have to connect you phone line to the CPU.

I don't know of any places, but if you have thrift stores by you ,you can buy them for 10.00 to 20.00 or get on freecycle.org and pick your state then your county and put in there wanted fax machine and if anyone has one they will give it to you.

No can do. You can get a free number in a God-forsaken area code and free recieving, but free sending is not in the cards.
