A very popular radio station was having an "Earthquake Survival Kit" promotion over 9 months ago. I participated and bought 3 kits which I paid $150.00+. I still have not received the kits nor is the company returning my call. What the heck should I do?

Did someone call you or did you hear it from the radio that they are selling a Earthquake Survival Kit?

Contact the corporate office or owners of the station. Report them to the local branch of the BBB and FCC, contact your local attorney District Attorney and see if there are other complaints on file. If you go the legal route, Small Claims court would handle the case, have proof of your payment, and ad in compensation for your filing costs, etc.

How did you pay? If you used a credit card report it as fraud, This may take some time but they will be able to find out that the company got paid fraudulently. Also call the Better Business Bureau and see if its a legit company and if so report them.

You're screwed. Consider it a lesson learned and be glad it wasn't 15,000.00.... You could sue then in small claims court, or report them to the BBB, but I don't think it would matter much. You could also contact the radio station and complain, and report them to the BBB.

Write to the Daily New Advenger and get your money back by sounding the alarm on them publically. If you paid for the item by credit card then you should have the records handy. Gd luck.
