This is the web site http://www.univhc.com/index.asp It really sounds to good to be true. The name of the company is Universal Health Care. It is offered to Seniors on Medicare. Just wondered if anyone has had an experience good or bad with this company.

accept insurance coverage from that time?

My daughter was sent to a specialist in October and in January we recieved a letter from medicaid stating that she WAS eligible for coverage in October, November and December and that services she received from that specialist are covered. I sent a copy of this letter along with my daughter's bill back to the physician's office and just received another bill for the same amount stating that they have closed her file.
No other information was included with this new bill except that now her file is closed. Are they saying they will no longer accept her medicaid? And why did they decide to close it after I submitted insurance information?
Is this usual policy for physicians offices?

If so, have you ever had to use it? Can someone give me some info on exactly what it covers and how well it pays you if you need to use it? I'm looking for a disability-type coverage in the event that I am injured or sick and cannot work. Is AFLAC set up for these kinds of problems or should I just go to my life insurance agent and purchase a disability policy from him? All answers are appreciated!

Long story, short: I fell and broke my nose while I was pumping gas at a local convenience store. The date of my injury was 1-31 and my health insurance was to become effective on 02-01, just hours away from the time that the accident occurred. My emergency room visit, so far, has totalled approx. $4000. My provider won't cover it because we arrived at the emergency room on 1-31. My question is: We were told by an insurance agent that the convenience store has Med-Pay insurance just to cover medical payments for injuries that occur on the premises. We don't want to sue or do anything else that goes beyond our medical payments, but would this be covered under the gas station's med-pay policy? We don't want anything extra, just help with the medical payments. Thank you again for your time.

Right now, my husband has insured my life and I've insured his, thinking this would eliminate any insurance getting tied up in escrow. Is it the best way, or should I actually be the one insuring my life and my husband the one insuring his?

She will be facing six months of chemotherapy and follow up doctor visits. Our current provider covered a January surgery and hospital stay and has been great. Would my new employer's plan typically cover a pre-existing condition?

If I decide to become an independent contractor (1099) can I keep the COBRA provided by my previous employer?

If I decide to go on W2, can I opt to stick with the COBRA from my previous employer ? (The potential new employer has a group health insurance plan but I'd have to pay 100% of the premium)

I have a renter's policy for my apartment in Virginia; the policy is in my name, but my fiancee and I both live there. We recently had a flood, caused by the upstairs neighbors. My question: does my fiancee qualify as a "relative" for purposes of rental insurance? The claims agent said "no", but she hasn't really struck me as much of an advocate so far... If anyone can point me to some kind of precedent, so much the better. Thanks!

if you buy whole life they tell you you can borrow "your money" but you have to pay back with interest because if you don't if you die the company will deduct the money you borrow from the death benefit sya you have 100,000 insurance and you take 20 and don't pay it back you die your family only gets 80,000. and if you dont take any money and you have 100,000 benefit and 20,000 cash value and you die your family gets 100,000 and the company keeps your cash value.now universal life is a little confusing it works like this example you buy 100,000 for 45 dls a month with part of this they buy you a annualy renewal term ins.the rest goes to a savings account what happens every year it cost them more to keep this term ins. on you aroun 48 years of age what you pay in premiums it is not enough to cover this term ins. so what they do they start using the money from your savings to keep your premium the same but around age 67 your cash value is gonesoyouneedtopaymoretokeepyourinsurance

When one has auto insurance alone, insurance companies state that if one is to also get home insurance from the same company, the sum of the two insurances will be less than the original auto insurance alone... Why should insurance companies take less premium for providing more service?
