He says he will take me to small claims for the $175 but since he signed the contracts isnt he lilable?

You fail to mention anything about any moral obligation to pay what you owe instead of sticking it to him for everything. Some "buddy" you are!

good question. i suspect he would be liable, but you may have to pay a portion based on having a sub- account. that would have to be decided in a court, but as far as i understand contract law, he's totally liable.

If he signed the contracts then he is at fault and he is to pay.

Hi,There is no legal document stating you owe anything.You and he should have had something drawn up to sign.I would pay the man ,he let you use his system.What`s fare is fare.
