She presently works in Customer Services at an insurance company and want to move over to Underwriting. Questions she might be asked:
1. Why she wants to go to this department?
2. How will contribute more there?
3. Where does she see the company in 5 years and how will she advance this move etc. Anymore questions she might be asked and appropriate answers? THANKS

If criminal charges proceed against StateFarm Insurance Co. in Mississippi and a felony verdict is rendered will StateFarm still be eligible to own and operate State Farm Insurance Bank (located in illinois) because a bank is a federally regulated entity and insurance companies are state regulated?

My dad is trying to include me in his insurance. I was included, but I'm 19 now, so unless I'm a full time student going to an accredited college, I can't be included. The document specifically states "To be considered a Full-Time Student your dependent must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical school, taking at least 12 units."

I'm not going to a university yet, but I AM going to a community college, and yes, it's possible for me to take 12 units. My question is, does my community college fall in the "accredited college" category? I live in California, and the college's name is Contra Costa College, if that matters.

I had a $800 deductable before medi-cal would pay any medical expense. I had to pay for my doctors visit and medications 100%. I will be 65 in two months, I got married last year, I am classifified as permanet disable.

Social security said when I got married that my husband income had nothing to do with my medi-cal benefits. I received a form in the mail for medi-cal annual redetermination form, and they want to know all kinds of questions about my household income. He owns properties and has a saving account, and I do not have anything in my name.

My question is if I do not return the questionaire would I now have to pay the monthly deductible for premium of $88.00; currently no premiums are deducted from my check. I have Scan and medi-care is my supplemental health insurance , they pay what medi-cal does not pay.

The questionaire states that if not receive back your medi-cal benefits will be stopped. Does that mean all together or that I will have to pay the premiums?

Whenever I purchase an item on ebay, I always check to see if the item is covered under the Paypal protection policy; usually it is. However, there have been cases where an item that has been covered by Paypal, has not been handled very well by the postal service. Fortunately, my items were not damaged, but it made me think about my need for additional insurance. Here are my questions: 1. What are your thoughts to my above situation, and my possible need for more insurance, even though I pay through Paypal, and the item is covered under their protection policy? 2. Some sellers post that "Insurance is not offered". Does that mean that there is no way I can pay the extra fee to get that item insurred, or what? Thank you. Any additional information on ebay & insurance that you can provide, would be helpful also.

I'm haveing major reconstructive surgury on my feet tomorrow. But my mom got a letter in the mail today saying that they wern't going to pay for my doctors bills. We called them and asked why. They said that they don't pay for anything that has to do with feet unless it's an injury or medicaly necessary. It really is necessary! If I don't do this now, then when I become older I will never be able to walk again. How can we fix this with our insurance? Please be nice I'm young and this is a big deal to me. I just want to get it over with!

If you already have a pre-existing condition (a disability), most insurance companies don't seem to allow you to get short or long term disability insurance. Are there any companies that will allow you to get short or long term disability anyway, with the exclusion that if you become disabled due to your disability it won't cover it, but if you become disabled some other way (like an accident or something) then you would be covered? I know they call these "riders" but can't find a company willing to do this.

Looking for a company that will. Anyone know of any?

Long Story = Bottom Line... I had coverage through my employer (as an hourly temporary employee - I paid the full premium - the employer just provided access to group rates) When I had a baby, I did not work but continued to pay premiums (the company was set up for this arrangement as they have a "missed premiums" dept. that you send your payments to. Apparently, this can only be done for a maximum of 4 weeks. I was never informed of the time limit and the company that I worked for never informed the carrier when my last assignment was. However, I continued to make payments and was never late nor missed a single payment. The carrier has totally fouled up my coverage and now that I am trying to have them straighten it out, they are telling me I should never have been able to make those payments for so long and they recently sent me a COBRA form. However, the coverage is a mess. They keep cashing my checks and paying (some of) my claims so what rights do I have?
