Ohio uses a managed care scheme to provide Medical Assistance to its residents. In other words, it utilizes insurance companies and third party administrators that manages the program. Here's a list of the entities that provide care for Ohio Medicaid recipients:

In order to search for a doctor that accepts Ohio Medical Assistance, go to the insurer's web site and search. For example, if the recipient is enrolled in Amerigroup Ohio, Inc., you'd go to the Amerigroup web site and refer to its Provider Directory: http://www.amerigroupcorp.com/Members/secure/_documents/PrvDirs/OHMemCFC.pdf
