Hi Sue,
I do not believe that the insurance company would search out an email address of someone due to HIPAA I highly doubt they would at all...

Are you asking if they will research every email address in order to find someone? If so the answer is no. It is not the companies obligation to search out someone.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. If you want to send an e-mail to your car insurance co or want to contact them in some way, speak to your agent (unless you have geico, progessive or some other company that deals directly with clients).
If you used a broker or agent, they are the representative of the company. Most companies will not speak to you and will advise you to speak to your agent.

There's no "search engine" that they have access to, that you don't - if that's what you mean. Can an individual employee at the company google you, to see if you've posted anything on a yahoo group? Sure! WILL they? Well, they probably won't bother.

Why don't you find out their website from google, from the their website, get their email id.
