Anyone know how long it take to process the paper work before we can get the money from life insurance if someone die?The Funeral Service have to pay before they do it.

When my grandma died, it took almost 2 weeks before my dad could collect the money from her insurance policy. Just make sure that the beneficiary is the one going to collect (with proper ID) otherwise they won't let you have it.

It shouldn't take long. As others were saying, as long as the two year contestibility period is up and there aren't any questions on the part of the life insurance company they should cut you a check rather quickly. The best thing to do is call the life insurance company and ask.
