I went to the main boss of the store and asked how much more I will make and he informed me that I wasn't promoted and that the other boss was messing with my head. what should I do to get the boss back for what he did?

Recently even doctors' offices have joined in this nuisance.

Not only insurance companies, utilities, banks, it seems everybody must "PROTECT THEIR EMPLOYEES" against, mostly justified customer rage. (That is why this has become such an issue in the first place.)

Would it not be a better idea to protect us, the common consumer against the rock-bottom lousy service that they provide in those call centers?

Ralph Nader where are you?

My wife works for Old Navy in the Mall in Ft. Walton Beach Florida. They recently had an employee of the month poll. My wife had 10 votes. the runner up had 7. it was an open box, so everyone saw the votes, and everyone knew who had the most votes.

The rules clearly state that any one can vote for any one, as many times as they want, and the manager has no say.

when the manager saw that my wife had the most votes, she immediately made the decision to give it to the runner up. She used the excuse that people voted more than once, and the final decision was up to the manager.

Does anyone else wonder how this manager continues to get paid?

NOTE: This information came from another person, who doesn't work directly with my wife.

I understand that it hurts small business by driving customers away from smaller shops with their lower prices, but I don't get why all these anti-trade hippos blame Wal-Mart for destroying the American economy. Isn't Wal-Mart an American corporation? Therefore, doesn't the money you spend at wal-mart stay in America?

I don't get it.
The loaned money to people to buy a house.
they have made money on the interest up until now.
Now they get to take the house away from the people.
So they made money. And have the house.
they made double money.

I know there are buisness ethics, but aren't there laws that prohibit bosses from demoting employees and giving that position to thier friends? This happened in a major franchise, not a privatley owned buisness. The friend has no prior expierence in this company, and this particular position is more corporate than part of the individual store. This is one of many "questionable" management decisions... I would just like to have accurate facts. Thanks.

My husband and I want to start a parent company that will have at least three subsidiary companies.

We want to register the parent company.

My question is do we need to register all the companies the same way.

If we have to register all the businesses the same way regardless of it being the parent company or a subsidiary, then how do you convey to the world the relationship between the Parent and subsidiaries.

And if we are only ready for one of subsidiary companies, can we just register that business and make the parent company later.

I'm totally confused right now. I work for a temp agency here in the Dallas Metroplex (OfficeTeam) and I called yesterday, and they said that if I was paid $14 an hour, the company that I'm currently temporarily employed at would have to pay around $7,500 to OfficeTeam to hire me.

IS THERE ANY WAY AROUND THIS?

I know that everything on here is free and that no one gets paid, but if you answer this question and it's a valid answer, and I get hired, I will pay you my ENTIRE FIRST PAYCHECK when I'm with the company. I could make way more money with this, so give me feedback, people. You could get more than $700...
