i recieved an email saying i won some lottery ammount of like One MillionThree Hundred and Fifty Thousand Great Britain Pounds and i know microsoft doesn't sponser lotterys what-so-ever and would like to contact them about this problem, does anyone know how i would go about this?

MSFT already knows that this phishing fraud is rampant, so down tools, mate.

If you thought it would do any good, you'd open the headers of the email and trace the actual origin of the thing, then forward the whole to the abuse department at that ISP.

after enough such abusive emails, honest ISPs close the sender's account.

since such things are frequently sent from computers that were invaded precisely for that purpose, I've occasionally forwarded the whole mess to the abuse department at the ISP that controls the address of the website you are directed to [hint: it isn't controlled by MSFT].

however, certain foriegn ISPs seem to not care and I got tired of what seemed to be a useless activity.

My ISP has refused to ban email from ISPs which host such offending websites. I tried them, too. Apparently, they don't give a rat's pattotie. Either
