I have had two job offers. As always happens, both offers have come at the same time. i would be selling cars at retail sites, for two of the top marques.
I like to earn good money and drive a fine car, but also need steady career progress with a company that cares about its employees. How do I choose between the two?

I would really like to be involved with music when I get out of high school. I am actually realling interesting in finding a stable, if possible part-time, career in music. Although I do play guitar, I do not want to be in a band of any sort. I really don't want to travel either, unless it is just occasional. What would be a good job that I could consider? (Please dont' put songwriter or producer I have already looked into these) Alos. Where could I get some schooling for this job?

When I get nervous, my mouth gets dry and then my voice tends to crack. I was thinking of carrying a bottle of water with me into the interview. Do you think it's acceptable to take water into the interview or do interviewers tend to look down on that?

Ok well tomorrow I have an interview at a local gym for a front desk position. Well since they always ask you in interviews... "What interested you in applying here?" ... I was just wondering if they do ask me that .. if this would be a good answer?

Would this be a good answer?

"I really like the environment here and actually used to come here all the time and the staff has always been very nice and helpful. I also thought it would be a very neat and interesting place to work at while going to school."

I have tried to reason with a coworker through a mediator. She has told lies about me and tried to get me fired by saying I'm stalking her and keeping her from doing her job. I have absolutely no contact with her so I don't know how this could be. I have went to her boss to ask him to speak to her about the issues. All he says is that she is not doing it and if I let things be it will go away. Well, it hasn't. She is still telling lies to coworkers about me. I then went to Human Resources to file a claim about her behavior. Again I was told to let it go because filing a claim would only make things worse. She has made my job unbearable because of the constant interrogations when she claims I have done something to her. I don't even work in the same dept. as she does. Leaving my job isn't really an option. I am at my wits end with all this. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am 16 years old. I really want some extra cash...But I'm a little weary as getting a formal job goes.

I'm starting to desire more things like a cell phone/service, money to go out with/do more fun stuff with friends, and to start saving more for college and a car. I know I can't always ask on my parents for this stuff because we are not wealthy, we are bottom middle class.

I wouldn't mind getting a job... But I do sports. I have Fall cross country coming up, and there are races on Saturdays. No sports in the winter, but Track in the spring. Would sports interfere with me working? Would my employer (Price Chopper Grocery Store is where I think I might work) understand I do sports, and let me continue doing them?

I am also very shy. I'm scared I won't fit in I guess, and have a bit of a speech impediment. ...I want to be a cashier.

Is 15 hours/week reasonable for my situation?

Should I even get a job at all?

Any help/advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

I am currently working in a hotel reception. I am getting the best salary I've been able to find after i finished my University. The thing is...It was a good job to start with but now find it too hard to be away from home all week. I have to travel two hours by bus to get to work so I stay at the beach where the hotel is. It's a dead boring place to live...No people live here..Just a few other employteees that I have nothing in common with. Should I quit before finding another job..Or should I wait a liuttle longer till' another chance comes out.????
