I am a certified phlebotomy technician (CPT) and I was wondering if I should put my name as Adrianne Nott, CPT at the top of my resume or if I should keep the CPT out.

Okay, I'm currently in the 9th grade (female), and I am personally interested in becoming a doctor/surgeon because if I go into the health field, I know I am not the top of person of to nurture a patient. I'll end up laughng at their illnesses (out of nervous energy). But I do not mind like studying for something, I am currently an A student, so med. school shouldn't be all that bad. I also wantmore money than a nurse, but also want a marriage/sex life. and children. Is this possible?

My girlfriend wanted to be a nurse. Right now she works as a outpatient specialist at a hospital while she is going to community college. She is pretty tough, but doesn't think she can take some of the messier things that nurses do. What other profession, without steering too much away from nurse/healthcare, would be good for her? Keep in mind that she goes to community college... Thanks!!

I'm set up to job shadow my orthodontist (in hopes of employment) but I'm clueless as of what to wear! I'm assuming my scrubs wouldn't be necessary since I probably wouldn't actually be working, but I'm afraid of being too "formal" when I accompany her. What are your thoughts on a wardrobe?

I am a nurse. I transferred to a smaller branch of the large hospital I was working at for a year. While orienting to my new surroundings, my mentor and I had a lot of downtime on the night shift. He wanted to watch movies over the internet, but was wary of using the office computers to do so. He suggested I bring in my laptop, which I did. To make a long story short, there were nude pictures of me on my laptop, which were seen by him and another employee. I did not deliberately show them, the other employee found them. When I went back to work 4 days later, the gossip about this incident had gotten out of control and I was fired for unprofessional conduct. Unemployment compensation was also denied.

Many employees bring their laptops to work and many look at or have nude photos.

Was this fair? Should I continue to fight it, or just accept it and let it go? I do have another job now.

i will be an incoming freshman next fall (hopefully to the university of illinois at chicago)

i was wondering if possibly anyone knows anything about the academic departments of this school & which department i would be applying to... ( I dont want to enter nursing by the way... i would rather become a physician's assistant without going into pre-nursing first)

would i be applying to applied health sciences or liberal arts and sciences... OR WHAT?!? i'm so confused!

also- if anyone has any other additional info about becoming a physician assistant please feel free to share...

if I do one of them 8 month courses for nursing in the future at Devry, would I be eligible for nursing jobs just as other college graduates who come from like Yale or a big time university? Or does it seriously matter where I graduate from like those lawyer people.
